Yuri Time

Commission for , warning : long ass comment below. I believe it's still okay by DA's standard?

If you follow me for some time, now, you must know that I sometimes ask myself "how far should I go" "where is crossing the line", and stuff like that. This commission made me realise that maybe this time I crossed that line.
If you are familiar with my work, you know I don't mind drawing sexy things, and I enjoy doing it and like to take it as a challenge. That was a bit what interested me in this picture, because the theme was somewhat challenging for me. However while doing it (and another commission that I still have to finish), I had this felling that I was drifting a bit too far from why I want to make art in the first place. Or maybe it is that there is a gap between the sexy commissions and my job a a comic artist for a rather young audience that makes me feel weird.
What I want to say is, of course, I have no intention of belittling ero art, it can make some poeple to follow you, make other people to unfollow you as well, and it is a respectable art form like many. It's also fun to draw, but, actually, it felt like I wasn't totally at home. and for this reason, I think I will refrain for doing this kind of art that often in the future.
Yeah 'that often". I'm not stopping to draw sexy and cute things, I'm not saying I will never draw nude people anymore (I couldn't keep this anyway haha XD), but I feel this need to find where the core of my art lies and for some reason, I felt that it wasn't here.

Again, that commission was challenging and fun, I liked working on it and I hope you will like it as well. I wasn't forced to accept it and the commissioner was really cool with the limits I gave him.  I just wanted to share a bit that went to my mind while working on it, sorry if it's like complaining!
